Sending money to another wallet

A transfer between two Ultraner wallets is internal: it does not leave for a mobile money network and come back, so it is immediate and costs nothing. What varies is how you tell us who to send it to.

The default, because it is the identifier everyone already knows. The number is the wallet address, the same way it is on mobile money.

Check it before you send. A transfer completes without the recipient doing anything, which is what makes it convenient and also what makes a mistyped digit permanent.

A claimed username gives you a short address that is easy to say out loud and hard to mistype: ultraner.com/pay/@yourname. Useful for anyone who publishes where to pay them, which is most small businesses and every freelancer.

A payment link asks the other person for a specific amount rather than sending them one. It is the right tool when you are owed money instead of paying it, and it works whether or not they have an Ultraner account.

Once it lands, it is theirs. There is no reversal and no hold: the money is in somebody else’s account, and taking it back out without their say-so is not something a payment system is allowed to do.

If you send to the wrong number, the only route is asking that person to return it. Most people do. Building your habits around that being reliable is unwise.

Wallet to wallet, nothing. Both sides are inside Ultraner, so no network is carrying the money and no network is charging for it.

That is worth knowing when you are choosing how to pay somebody who is already here. A transfer beats a payout on cost every time, and the only reason to use a payout instead is that they are not on Ultraner.
