Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Ultraner's wallet, payment processing, and API services, operated by Hernatter Limited ("Ultraner", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and verification

Anyone may open a wallet account. Processing payments through Ultraner's APIs - accepting card, mobile money, or PayPal payments, or receiving payouts on behalf of a business - requires completing our Know Your Customer (KYC) verification and being approved. We may request government identification, proof of business registration, proof of address, tax documentation, and information about your business model before granting or continuing API access. We may suspend or revoke API access at any time if we believe the information provided is inaccurate or incomplete.

2. Prohibited uses

You may not use Ultraner to process payments for, or in support of, any activity that is illegal in the jurisdictions where you or your customers are located, or any of the following regardless of legality in a given jurisdiction:

  • Illegal drugs, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia
  • Pornography, adult content, or sexual services
  • Gambling, betting, lotteries, or games of chance, except where separately licensed and approved by us in writing
  • Weapons, ammunition, or explosives
  • Pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing structured as a pyramid, or other deceptive financial schemes
  • Counterfeit goods or intellectual property infringement
  • Money laundering, terrorist financing, or sanctions evasion
  • Any other business we determine, at our discretion, to be high-risk or incompatible with our regulatory obligations

Misrepresenting your business model or use case during KYC verification is grounds for immediate account suspension and forfeiture of pending payouts, in addition to any other remedies available to us.

3. Authorized domains and API keys

Live API keys are issued per approved domain. You must list every domain that will send payment requests to, or receive webhook callbacks from, Ultraner, and each domain is independently reviewed before it can be tied to a live key. Using a live API key to process payments for a domain other than the one it's tied to is a violation of these Terms. Test-mode keys are exempt from domain review and must never be used to process real payments.

4. Fees and settlement

Fees for card, mobile money, and PayPal processing, along with any applicable FX spread, are disclosed in our documentation and may be updated from time to time. Funds are settled to your wallet in the currency your account operates in, net of processing fees.

5. Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Ultraner's payment APIs, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or if required to do so by a regulator or payment partner. Wallet access for non-API use is not affected by API-specific suspensions.

6. Liability

Ultraner provides its services on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ultraner is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tanzania.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use of Ultraner after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
