Payment Links

Live

Get paid with a link.

No website and no integration needed. Make a link, send it on WhatsApp, print the QR on a counter, and every payment lands in your Ultraner balance with a receipt for the payer.

What it does

A shareable link or QR code that takes a payment with no code at all.

Create a link in the dashboard or over the API, share it anywhere, and the payer chooses mobile money, card or PayPal on Ultraner's hosted page. Links can be one-time, reusable or recurring.

Every payment method

The payer picks mobile money, card or PayPal on the hosted page, in their own currency.

One-time, reusable or recurring

Cap the number of uses, set an expiry, or make the link start a subscription for each payer.

QR codes

Every link has a QR code to print or show on a screen.

Receipts and invoices

Issue a receipt automatically on payment, or create an invoice linked to the link.

How it works

  1. 01

    Create the link

    Title, amount and currency, or leave the amount open for the payer to enter.

  2. 02

    Share it

    Copy the link, download the QR, or embed the checkout in your own page.

  3. 03

    Get paid

    Payments show in your dashboard as they happen, with a webhook if you want one.

curl https://api.ultraner.com/v1/business/payment-links \
  -H "X-API-Key: uk_test_..." \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "title": "Consultation",
    "amount": 50000,
    "currency": "TZS",
    "type": "multi_use"
  }'

Sandbox keys start with uk_test_ and never move real money.

Pricing

What it costs

Collecting

0% Ultraner fee

The gateway's own processing fee may apply. You choose who absorbs it, you or your customer.

Settling to your bank

3% US, 4% elsewhere

Settlement works to your own bank account, in any country. The extra 1% outside the US is the international transfer.

Creating links in the dashboard needs no plan. Creating them with a live API key needs the Developer Console plan.

Questions

What is the difference from a checkout session?

A payment link is one you create and share repeatedly. A checkout session is minted per order and expires on its own. Both are paid on the same hosted page.

Can the payer choose the amount?

Yes. Leave the amount out and the payer enters it.
