Getting paid by African customers through your US company

A US company opens doors to global customers. Ultraner makes sure it does not close the door on the ones next to you.

The gap

A US company with a US bank account can take cards from anywhere. But most people across the continent pay by mobile money, not by card. A founder who moves their business to a US entity and only accepts cards can lose a large share of their home customers overnight.

How Ultraner closes it

Ultraner lets your company take mobile money and cards in the African markets it covers, through one checkout and one API. Customers pay in their own currency on the network they already use. You see every payment in one dashboard and settle the balance to your US bank in dollars.

Setting it up

  • Create an Ultraner business for the new company and complete verification with the formation documents and EIN.
  • Add the US bank account under Settlements.
  • Share a payment link, add checkout to your site, or integrate the API.
  • Your first year of the Developer Console is included with Titan.

Pricing in dollars, paying in shillings

You can price in USD and let customers pay in local currency. The conversion happens at checkout at our live rate, the customer sees the exact local amount before they approve, and you receive dollars.
